Dawn Patrol Coffee is San Mateo's first and only container coffee shop. We opened in May 2021 in the beautiful city of Half Moon Bay.

Our coffee shop is a local, family-owned business. We strive to give our customers great tasting coffee and a great drinking experience.

In surf culture, Dawn Patrol is the act of getting up extremely early - at dawn or earlier to go surfing. Why? It is often the best time to surf.

The winds tend to be light, the ocean glassy, and there are no crowds - just you and the best surf of the day. A great way to start your day! Of course, you need coffee before, after, or both.

The term "Dawn Patrol" has been applied to aviation and the military. It can be applied to any activity or anyone who gets up early and gets shit done while the world is still quiet and peaceful.
